Energy Efficient Products
Templeton Group has been involved with energy related industries for the past several years and has established business relationships with numerous companies specializing in solar electric, energy efficient lighting, solar hot water and wind turbines.
Solar Electric Ground Mount Systems
Templeton Group has entered into a strategic partnership with an internationally recognized mechanical and electrical engineering company for the design and manufacture of solar farm ground (single axis) mount systems. Our system is based on a modular concept that is manufactured in component units that can be delivered in sequence to the job site for easy, low cost assembly. Our system has built in flexibility to accommodate a variety of solar panel configurations and has been designed for 25 service life with minimal maintenance. This allows maximum use of available space even over uneven ground.
Lighting
Templeton Group was instrumental in development of an energy efficient lighting system for use in warehouses and big box stores. Our T-5 four bulb (power coated) canopy utilizes a universal voltage ballast that is stable from 100V to 240V and reduces electricity use by approximately ½ over commonly used 480W HID lighting fixtures. Additionally, our lighting system improves light spectrum, reduces shadowing and returns to full power light immediately in case of power interruption.

Please note lighting fixtures are available in full 40’ container load only (approximately 600 pcs). Solar Hot Water
Templeton Group traveled extensively throughout the Far East visiting factories specializing in solar hot water. It was apparent that solar hot water is extensively used throughout China though most systems installed are gravity based (roof mounted) designs. Pressurized systems have been developed for export sales and are available for any build scale. We have a number of different companion factories but all our systems feature panel construction and vacuum glass tubes that substantially reduce heat loss.
Wind Turbines
Templeton Group has contacts with wind turbine manufacturers but due to the more limited interest and applications for this wind technology, we consider this to be a work in progress.
Solar Electric Panels
This industry and products have virtually exploded worldwide because of very generous subsidies in Europe and rebate and tax structures in certain US States. Templeton Group has established business relationships with solar electric panel manufacturers and assemblers throughout China. This business is oriented toward solar integrators who are purchasing panels in large single volume quantities for construction of solar farms and large industrial applications.
